Preppy Gingham Custom Dog Needlepoint Belt Design

I was at a wedding last week in Nantucket, and after going shopping and looking for ideas for needlepoint belts, I came across a lot of gingham patterns in the shops.

This idea had been lingering in the back of my mind, so when a customer wanted a poodle needlepoint belt, I decided to put in the time and make it happen.  While this is not the design that was right for the person she is making it for, she loved it and may order it for her husband!

Amazing Custom Needlepoint Belts Finished

It always brings a smile to may face when our customers send back pictures of the custom needlepoint belts that we helped design for them.

Always the classic concept, we’ve finally added the nautical flag needlepoint belt to our personalized needlepoint shop.

International maritime signal flags were used around the world for hundreds of years.  Flags would be hoisted to communicate between ship captains.

Each of the flags on the belt stand for a letter, and the needlepoint belt below spells out Jacob Payson Chamberlain.

Life Treasures Custom Needlepoint Belt

We had a fun project last week that the customer has agreed to share with everybody!

This needlepoint belt is a collection of places, events and symbols.  It is being made as a graduation gift.

I’m calling it a Life Treasures belt.  We started with about 20 ideas, and then they decided to get the grad’s opinion to make sure they like all the elements.

A few rounds back and forth and we had an amazing personalized needlepoint belt canvas!  I’m sure this will be worn with pride…

Custom Navy Needlepoint Belt Preview

We’ve been quite busy designing personalized needlepoint belts the last few weeks!

I had to share this one, as it really came out well.

The flag and eagle with anchor only repeat once, but I would have had to cut them in half to make the preview accurate, so I left them on both sides so you could see them!

Some of the elements came from our Airplane Needlepoint Belt but new additions were the Eagle with Anchor, the Navy Logo, the Wings, Navy Chapel, and Navy Insignia.
