Friday Favorites – Christmas Belt Deadline – Stockings – Belts – Reviews and More

This week was really busy, it seems like the Christmas has arrived and we’d like to announce our deadlines.

Needlepoint Belts – We need orders to be place by Nov. 1 to guarantee they will arrive before Christmas. We are also offering an express order option to be place by Nov. 17, there will be a $100 fee for this service and only a available for a few belts, we just don’t have enough stitchers.

Needlepoint Kits – Orders placed by Dec. 11 are guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. Orders placed by Dec. 16th will have the option to pay for 3 Day air to guarantee on time arrival. (We will use FedEx over Christmas, FedEx 3 day air is a $10 surcharge, Priority Mail may arrive in time, but we cannot guarantee this)

World Soccer Needlepoint Belt

For the soccer fans out there (or football to those across the atlantic or pacific), we’ve created the new World Soccer Needlepoint Belt.

What I love about this design, is that it features different ball patterns and colors from around the world. And if you’ve got a specific ball you would like to see incorporate into the design, we’d love to put it on the belt for you! We can change the background color of the belt and add a monogram too.

New Christmas and Kids Handpainted Needlepoint Canvases

I’ve mentioned her before, but it is aways good to remind our readers.

We have a great painter in the Denver area that will do custom projects for us.

This week I met with her for two projects she painted of kids names spelled out in playful kid shapes. (see the bottom photo)

While chatting, she also had two projects she had finished for women in her stitching group which I love! The angel stocking really came out amazing.

Washington and Lee University Needlepoint Belt

We’ve added another college campus needlepoint belt to our shop!

The Washington and Lee University Campus Needlepoint Belt features the campus’s iconic buildings. From left to right these are Leyburn Library, Presidents House and barn, Newcomb Hall, Colonnade, Tucker Hall, Huntley Hall, Chapel, and Elrod Commons.

Also note the scene is set in the Shenandoah Valley surrounded by the Allegheny and Blue Ridge mountains. The beautiful backdrop really is sets the scene for this wonderful university.

This design is available as a needlepoint belt or a needlepoint kit that you can stitch yourself!

Friday Favorites – Custom College Needlepoint Designs, Monograms, and Mountains

We were very busy this week in our workshop. There are some stunning images to share, so I hope you enjoy them!

First off, two of our custom needlepoint belt designs. Two are our newly featured custom landscape panoramas. The one on the right is the Notre Dame campus in South Bend, and the other is a coastal town in California!
