Friday Favorites – Native American Needlepoint

I love native american art, and this week we have a few custom needlepoint projects that fit this theme.

First off is a needlepoint kit recently stitched by one of our customers.  More psychedelic in nature than most, but really fun!

Customer Spotlight – Childrens Artwork in Needlepoint

We have a great project to share this week, from Becky in Virgina.

The custom needlepoint projects came to us as scans of her childrens’ artwork, and we converted them into needlepoint kits.

The rest is really all her!  I love the colorful framing around the needlepoint.  Her whole family loves the needlepoint pillows!

The surfboard needlepoint belt features colorful surfboards, both short and long.

Last Weeks Favorites – Custom Needlepoint Canvases

Some took a few months to finalize the designs, but were totally worth it!

In Stitches – Needlepoint Peacock Part 1

One of our artists (Lauren Katz – Vivid Visions Artistry) is busy at work on her custom needlepoint peacock needlepoint kit we helped design a few months ago.  See the original canvas here.

She’s freehanding a lot of the design and it is looks amazing!

We plan on posting some more about how she is grouping and stiching the peacock feathers soon along with other ideas she has had.  Thanks for sharing Lauren!
