Fun Needlepoint Christmas Kits – New Designs!

We’re excited to have started working with some new artists!

These Christmas needlepoint designs are just the beginning, over the next several months you will see a lot of new, original, fun designs available in our shop www.needlepaint.com.

These designs are ripe for choosing non tent stitches and adding embellishments. Rather than going over the details of each, I’m posting the pictures with a link to our shop page which tells you more.

Back to Christmas Needlepoint Stockings

(Written by Peggy Bond) I had a little more time this year than I had with the War and Peace stocking. Time is not the issue but the challenge is two needlepoint stockings for my nephew’s twins Alex and Isaac – same but different designs are the order of the day.

With plenty of time this season, I decided to experiment with some texture and color variations while stitching. For example, I dressed up the Christmas present in the heel of Isaac’s with a green and yellow checkerboard pattern.

And, then I stitched the background in an oblong reversed cashmere box stitch, but in two different shades of yellow.

For the background diagram above, I have accentuated the yellow color differences. The finished stitching is below. Unless you are aware of the slight variation in the yellows, you probably wouldn’t notice it. However, it does give the finished stocking an added dimension. It almost looks like variegated thread.

Needlepoint Envy – Artwork Stitched

Yesterday a customer emailed me a photo of her project that we helped her create. I’m stunned how well this came out!

We did spend a lot of time going over the details, but I can tell she went the extra mile when stitching the project and it shows!

Friday Favorites – German Shepherds – Needlepoint Belts – and More

Another great week at NeedlePaint!

So many fun custom projects to be stitched, I took some pictures of some my favorites this week.

The dog needlepoint kits came out really well this week. The two German Shepherds are going to be stitched into pillows!

Custom Duck Hunting Needlepoint Belt

We had a custom request to design some new ducks for a needlepoint belt.

I’ve got to hand it to Tracy, she blew this project out of the water!

The ducks look amazing, better than anything I’ve done. So I had to make the duck hunting belt available in our shop!

The current background is khaki but it can be changed to any lighter tone color. As with all of our products the monogram will be personalized and this is available as a canvas or a finished belt.

Christmas Treats Three New Personalized Needlepoint Stocking Designs

We are celebrating the season with three new fantastic needlepoint Christmas stocking designs!

Not too much for me to say in this post, other than a warm thanks to Tracy for her hard work creating them.
