The UGA Alumni will recognize the bell tower next to the chapel that is rung in celebration and on special occasion, and check out Sanford Stadium!   Other buildings are Holmes – Hunter Academic Building, The Arch, Brooks Hall, Waddel Hall, Bell Demosthenian Hall, Phi Kappa Hall, and Terry Hall.

Both belts can be personalized, buildings substituted, and are also available as DIY needlepoint kits.

We’re halfway thought the holiday season already, just two more week!  Orders placed by Tuesday Dec. 9th will ship by the 13th and still make it in time for Christmas.  (This is for needlepoint canvases only, and does not necessarily include personalized designs).  Orders placed by Dec 16th will need to use FedEx to guarantee delivery by the 24th.  We will email customers the details about your orders if is shipping that week.  If you are ordering a Life Treasures Belt design, please order ASAP, as it takes us 2 – 3 days extra to create your preview.

And last is a custom whisky flask needlepoint project.  The stitcher will put both sides together to ensure it is aligned properly.  This can be easily be done by overlapping the canvases and stitching them together.

Bowdoin College Campus Needlepoint Belt

We’ve finished designing another stunning custom college campus needlepoint belt!

Bowdoin College is know for the outstanding liberal arts education it provides and the beautiful campus in Brunswick, Maine. Friendships and relationships that are started here endure and grow.  The Bowdoin College campus needlepoint belt will hopefully bring back some of those memories.

The campus design features:  Hubbard Hall, Museum, VAC, Searles Science Building, Memorial Hall, Massachusetts Hall, the Chapel, Maine Hall, and Baxter House.

We’d be happy to add a monogram and / or the graduation year on either side of the buckle if you’d like.  This is available as a fully stitched needlepoint belt, or as a DIY needlepoint kit.  It would make a great gift for somebody who seems to have everything!

Needlepoint Belt Monogram Ideas

Looking for different ideas for monograms on your custom needlepoint belt?  I’ve seen a lot of great ones, so I’m going to go over some of my favorites.

Typically we design a monogram with First Middle Last initials.  Or if you prefer to have the last name in the middle, then the first and middle initials will be on the sides and smaller than the last name initial.  With these letters, we most often use a Times New Roman typeface that is more traditional, or a Arial typeface that does not have the flair on the ends (see the EAK monogram below).

Other ideas:

Diamond Monogram – This is where the first and last name all come together in a diamond shape, last name goes in the middle.  See JRL monogram, the third image down.

Circular Monogram – We can put the letters inside a circle (see SEC below). Again, last name goes in the middle.

Stacked Monogram – Stack the first and middle name on top of each other, and put the last name in a larger size to the right.  See MWC monogram below.

Nautical Flag Monogram – This is where we use nautical signal flags for the monogram.  See the top belt below.

Tiny Monogram – Looking for something that is not going to stand out in the design, but still be personalized?  See the Tiny monogram below – fourth picture.
