About this Design

Lewiston, Maine is nestled in a vibrant French Canadian culture, rich in industrial and social history; and home to Bates College. This private liberal arts college houses the Gomes Chapel, one of the most architecturally interesting buildings on campus. On our needlepoint belt canvas we have also included: The Commons, Pettengill Hall, Hathorn Hall, Ladd Library, Hedge Hall, lake with Mt. David, track with Merrill Gymnasium and the Ronj.
