About this Design

This needlepoint design is based on the "Rabbit and Dog from Lod, Israel" original mosaic, that Peggy our founder saw, while walking through ancient Rome and Pompeii. This rabbit eating grapes and a Lakonian hunting dog watching the rabbit, is a typical mosaic that would have been featured in the public buildings, and private homes of ancient Rome.
