About this Design

Many people remember this flag as the bicentennial flag because of its popularity in 1976, when America was celebrating its 200th birthday. Originally created as the "Bennington Flag" it was associated with the American revolution Battle of Bennington. With its thirteen stars, and thirteen stripes, being symbolic of the original thirteen colonies; and the '76, recalling when the Declaration of Independence was signed.
