About this Design

The Rotunda on the UVA's campus was designed by Thomas Jefferson to represent the "authority of nature and power of reason"; and inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, due to Jefferson's lifelong dedication to both education and architecture. We have designed a needlepoint wallet canvas for you to stitch with the Rotunda on one side, and the Pavilion II with the Thomas Jefferson statue on the other side. When planning your canvas, please feel free to replace one of the images with a monogram. (DMC embroidery floss is optional, does not include leather, ask us about our leather finishing service.)
